Cheese is gross. From Velveeta to Boursin.
You are:
a) Lactose intolerant.
b) Making a sick joke.
c) Dead to me.
You can only pick one.
Um, clearly you are c) dead to me
Alternatively you could be, a) because you miss it soooo much- but if you are that pathetic, I stick with c) dead to me.

Florida Group Wants to Ban the Birth Control Pill-... →
Over on nerve today read a facinating article about a Florida group pushing to get birth control pills banned. Not kidding.
Special highlight: the comments section in which a commenter calling himself “B” declares:
“Did you forget that not 20 years ago the gay population of the US inflicted a deadly epidemic disease on themselves by way of their own sexual immorality, ahem,...

The winner of Sweden’s Water Fairy of the Year contest!
(from The Local- Sweden’s News in English)
The 2009 competition, which was held in front of a crowd of more than 400 spectators on Thursday, featured five participants, including the reigning Water Fairy of the Year, violinist Ross Campbell. Braving the creek’s icy waters, each musician did their best to convince the...

Book Review: The Blue Notebook by James A. Levine
Attention: I apparently have great taste! Who knew? One of my more recent reads was just named to July’s Indie Next List!
If you are not familiar: its basically independent book store owners/ staff, voracious readers all- nominate and vote on a list of books to be highlighted each month with the general goal of picking great reads that may have gone under appreciated due to small publicity...

A pet peeve of mine is when people say “Literally” when they are far from it. For example “That literally scared the shit out of me!” Literally? Really? Maybe you shouldn’t be sitting on my couch.

Book Review: Devil's Kiss by Sarwat Chadda
As with all great tales the categorization of Devil’s Kiss is entirely beside the point. I increasingly find myself reading Young Adult Fiction, and must admit that perhaps the faux cover of a younger intended audience (I am guessing the median age of Rowling and Meyer readers is about 28) allows the author more freedom to play with characters, setting and overarching themes.
